Our Repair Method for Alloy Wheels?
Alloy wheels make a car look great which is why our service has been created to repair all types of alloy wheels. We start by cleaning the alloy removing any dirt and grime, this allows us to fully see the damaged wheel, we then mask the tyre ensuring no overspray marks the tyre, brake assembly and air valve. Please be aware that during our visit we will not remove the wheel from the vehicle unless we see it necessary. Now that the alloy is prepped, we start the repair using our specialist sanding equipment. We sand the alloy back removing the damage allowing for a professional finish.
After this we will start to apply primer and the paint which is matched to the colour of your alloy followed by multiple clearcoat layers to ensure a finish that looks as good as new. The whole repair process typically takes around 2 hours including drying times.
